May 26 “Warriors and UUs - More in Common than You May Think”

 Bill Clontz

Reflections for Memorial Day

A number of UUs cannot imagine being a UU and a soldier. Many of those in the armed forces cannot imagine what they could possibly have in common with Unitarian Universalists. Happily, both perceptions are wrong. A number of us are quite happy and in balance living in both worlds simultaneously. This Sunday, we’ll talk about how that works – and in our small way, introduce these two communities to each other. Each will find a lot to like in the other – and perhaps find some pleasant surprises along the way.

Memorial Day Weekend marks our return to one service at 10 a.m.
