This week’s sermon topic is:

It’s Stewardship Sunday! -Clontz Bill

Let’s Talk About Someone’s Money BESIDES Yours.  Stewardship is a tricky thing for UUs – it calls on both our left-brain and our right-brain. It has the practical side of supporting and sustaining MVUC, but it also has the spiritual component of giving because it feels good and because we are stewards of a gift given to us that we will pass on to others. Both sides are essential. Let’s examine one Unitarian Universalist’s journey on the path of stewardship and see if we see some familiar benchmarks we all have seen in our own journeys. This isn’t just about money – it’s about ministry, community, and celebrating our values.

Special Bonus –a “biblical parable” (home-gown version) you’ve never heard, but one you will likely remember for a long time.  Bill Clontz
