Why Plastic Container are a No No

Please buy as little as possible in plastic containers.  Aluminum and glass are recyclable.  They can be reformed into what they were, again.  Plastic is a petroleum-based product and can only be down cycled.  For example, plastic bottles can be made into Trex boards.  Plastic stays in the environment for at least 1000 years.  It only becomes more toxic over time as it breaks down.  Please look for alternatives before buying anything in plastic containers or accepting plastic bags.  Just a thought ~ Wendy Burns
