Ecological Intelligence

In order to achieve a more sustainable world, we each need to increase our "Ecological Intelligence."  Each item that we buy has the hidden cost of environmental impact to produce and transport it.  If we think about lifecycle assessment, we can better understand and compare products. Greenpeace says that for each one trash can of "stuff" we throw out, about 70 cans of trash were produced to make our "stuff."  That is scary!  But, there is a web site that lists over 70,000 food, toys, personal care, and household products to help us make more informed choices and compare products - www.goodguide.com.  Good luck!  Just a thought ~ Wendy Burns
