Service Auction — March 26!
To support their trip to the United Nations Spring Seminar on Arms control, MVUC youth making that trip to New York City will be holding a silent auction after both services on March 26. The whole YRUU program will be leading the service, then those going to New York will be hosting coffee hour with extra baked treats for donations. Services will also be auctioned off, including babysitting, errands or garden work, a flute lesson, tutoring, tech assistance, baked goods, and dog walking. Come prepared to bid on some great opportunities for a great cause!

Easter Candy Needed
It’s that time of year, and the Easter Bunny needs our help! On Easter Sunday, April 16 between services, we will be having our annual Easter Egg hunt. There will be a basket in the Commons on the LSG table to accept candy donations between now and then. These donations will be inserted in plastic Easter Eggs, so they need to be small and individually wrapped. Stickers and similar items are also accepted for the candy exchange afterward.

Contemplative Group
Sundays, 10 am, Hollin Hall Sun Porch
If you feel drawn to deepening your spiritual life through meditation, join the Contemplative Group. We come together informally for celebration, silence, and friendship. The sitting meditation begins with simple chants from different traditions. Selected readings are followed by a 20-minute period of silence, broken by song. Afterwards we have sharing and fellowship until the MVUC main service begins. Whatever your background and experience, you are welcome.
