Got Kids?
Children and Youth Are Welcome
We have nursery care for infants and classes for children of all ages. On Sunday mornings, we encourage children and youth to participate in the first part of the worship service. There is a special segment called "For All Ages" in which children are invited to sit up front where they're told a story related to the sermon topic. After that part of the service, children go to their religious education classes and youth go to their meeting room. For first-time visitors, teachers and greeters are present to show you to your child's classroom. You're welcome to accompany your child if you want to sit in and listen.
We have a very active Junior High Youth group. And for older youth we have Young Religious Unitarian Universalists, a youth-run and adult-advised group active in our local church community and in the larger district-wide youth community. This group is open to high school age youth.
Dress for children, except for very special occasions, is the same as for parents: whatever is comfortable.
