The Social Justice Program at MVUC has a long and proud history going back to the civil rights movement. The mission of the Social Justice Program is to contribute to a more just world in keeping with UU principles, by working to remove causes of social inequality and inequity, advocating for just causes, serving the community in need and growing the leaders of tomorrow who will continue this work.
In
its over fifty years of history of social action, MVUC has been
recognized by a number of organizations and awarded several
certifications of national stature. For a list of awards and

The program is run by the Social Justice Council . All meetings are open, join us!
The activities of the program are organized in two categories: 1. activities organized by MVUC on or off the Hill, and 2. activities organized by other inter-faith groups or UUs that MVUC participates in, supports and publicizes.
