HOW TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT IN MVUC PUBLICATIONSTo tell others about a church event or make some another announcement, send the information by Wednesday noon to announcements@mvuc.org. If all is well, it will appear in
The Weekly Bulletin, distributed each Sunday with the order of service.
The e-newsletter, This Week at MVUC, distributed by email each Friday (limited mostly to reminders of major events occurring in the next 9 days).
The Events section of the church website, mvuc.org.
SUGGESTED FORMAT
Please send your announcement this way:
Name of event (or headline)
Day of the week, date, time. Location.
Brief description of the event.
Contact person, contact information.
Example:
Big Topic/Small Lunch
Sunday, March 11, 12:45 – 2:00 p.m. Hollin Hall Breakfast Porch
Join us for a discussion of "Evil, Love, and Forgiveness." This should be interesting figuring out how it all works together. Walk-ins welcome.
