Small Group Ministry Activities

SMALL GROUP MINISTRY
Small Group Ministry is a program created to facilitate individual space for spiritual growth. Groups of no more than 10 to 12 people meet regularly, to discuss topics of common interest, in a shared space of inclusiveness, spirituality, and confidentiality. These are open groups --anybody can join -- but they are not drop-in groups. If you wish to participate, please contact group leaders in your area of interest. The following groups are currently running:

Our Spiritual Journey
2nd and 4th Tuesdays, starting September 13, 1 - 2:30 pm, Hollin Hall Blue Room
Group explores the depths of members' spiritual roots, where they have been, where they currently are, and where they think they are going in their faith journey. This group will be closed after October 1st. Contact Louise Werner-Rhoades, louron13@cox.net,

Spirituality in Diversity
1st and 3rd Fridays, starting September 16, 7:30 - 9:00 pm, Hollin Hall Morning Room.
Group explores the impact of (racial, xenophobic, homophobic etc.) prejudice on our spiritual development, and our public and private personae. The focus is on how the contributions of people ‘unlike’ us enhance our spirituality. We will also reflect on public events that are or are not affected by diversity. Parents of Teens
2nd and 4th Sundays, starting September 11, 4 - 6 pm, Hollin Hall Morning Room
