Children and Youth – Welcome!

Religious Education for children and youth is offered during both Sunday services.

During the 9:15 service, Pre-K through 5th graders meet for Spirit Play, a Montessori-like approach to UU religious education.

During the 11:15 service, curriculum-based classes for Pre-K through 12th grade are offered.

Nursery care for children ages 3 and under is available during both services.

Kindergarten -1st Grade

Children and youth are encouraged to participate in the first part of the worship service prior to attending thier Religious Education classes.

Early in the service, children are invited to join in front of the stage for a story related to the sermon topic during the “For All Ages” portion of the service. Following “For All Ages”, children go to their Religious Education classes and youth go to their meeting room.

For first-time visitors, teachers and greeters are present to show you to your child’s classroom. You’re welcome to accompany your child if you want to sit in and listen.

High school age youth participate in Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (“YRUU”), a youth-run and adult-advised group active in our local church community and in the larger district-wide youth community.
