Nina Tisara and Steven Halperson exhibiting at Green Spring Gardens Park, Mar 5 – Apr 28

Mosaics by MVUC Member Nina Tisara and photographs by Steven Halperson will be exhibited in the Historic House, Green Spring Gardens, 4601 Green Spring Road, Alexandria, 22312. The exhibit will be open to the public from March 5 through April 28. The Opening Reception is Sunday, March 10, 1-3 p.m.

The Tisara/Halperson team had worked together along with Lynn Halperson Mills at Tisara Photography in Old Town for three decades. Steven now manages the Alexandria portrait studio as well as creating painterly photographic images and unique etched copper art.  Nina creates intricate mosaics of unglazed porcelain tile which are widely exhibited and collected. Although Lynn no longer works directly with them, she continues to provide artistic and administrative guidance.

The Green Spring Garden’s Art in the Garden program is sponsored by the Friends of Green Spring. Exhibit space will close on occasion for program use and the public is encouraged to call ahead, 703-642-5173, to be certain the exhibit is open for viewing.
