We Are a Global Faith – Partner Church Sunday

Unitarian and Unitarian Universalist groups exist around the globe, in known and surprising places. This service will explore and celebrate our connections, and our differences, with our siblings in faith. Rev. Morgan McLean will reflect on her own work of unlearning our American expectations and learning anew to center emerging voices. Lisa Blair will reflect on her experiences with Mt. Vernon’s Partner Churches in Szentháromság, Transylvania (Romania) and Mawlat, India.

Rev. Morgan McLean (she/her) is the International Engagement Program Manager in the Unitarian Universalist Association’s International Office, a position that supports individuals and congregations in creating connections to Unitarians and Unitarian Universalists around the globe. She has served as minister in congregations around the country and was the Chair of the Board of the former UU Partner Church Council. Rev. Morgan is also currently serving as Sabbatical Lead Minister at the UU Church of Rockville through June.  Her husband, Daniel, is a professor of Political Science at Northern Virginia Community College, and their energetic preschooler, Myrtille, keeps them busy!
